Location and maintenance

General

During the adjustment and maintenance work, persons may incur injuries when moving parts of the machine. Therefore:

The adjustment and maintenance works should only be carried out by qualified and trained personnel

During the adjustment and maintenance works, the power supply must be interrupted (from the main switches and with the cover overlaid)

The restoration of the power supply and the starting of the machine by other persons must be prevented.

To operate the hydraulic system, it must be free of pressure and the bailing sign must be lowered (see chapter 7.3)

After completing the adjustment and maintenance works, all safety mechanisms should be checked to see if they are complete and operational before starting the machine.

Replace all protections after the works are completed. It is forbidden to start the machine without the protective devices in place!

After the completion of the works, a test will be carried out under the supervision of the technical personnel in charge of this operation.

Procedure for reducing the pressure in the hydraulic system

  • the main switches must be in the OFF position and locked
  • decrease the hydraulic lining
  • switch off manually the valves with a single solenoid
  • the pressure gauge must indicate 0

The hydraulic system must be depressurized only by authorized persons!

Fixing problems

General

During the repair works, persons may incur injuries when moving parts of the machine. Therefore:

  • Repair works should only be carried out by qualified and trained personnel
  • During the repair works, the power supply must be switched off(from the main switches and with the cap overlaid)
  • The restoration of the power supply and the starting of the machine by other persons must be prevented.
  • Before any works on the hydraulic system, it must be depressurized first (see chapter 7.3)
  • After the repair works are completed, all the safety mechanisms should be checked to see if they are complete and operational before starting the machine.
  • Replace all protections after the works are completed. It is forbidden to start the machine without the protective devices in place!

After the completion of the works, a test will be carried out under the supervision of the technical personnel in charge of this operation.

Disturbances in the technological process flow

The pressing sign is not enabled in the mechanism mode

Causes:The door and/or the filling door are not closed

The door is open from time to time

The bailing sign is not raised.

Solution:Close the door and/or the filler cap

Raise the bailing sign manually.

Afterwards enable the START cycle again

 

The red indicator light for FAILURE is lit

Causes:The filling door is not locked.
Solution:Close the filling door.

Remove the magnet.

Adjust the sensor on the filling door.

The bailing sign does not start again when starting the mechanism

Causes:The emergency stop is enabled.

The door of the bailing chamber/the feeding door are open from time to time.

No power supply

The message for finished bale lights up.

Solution:Disable the emergency stop. Raise the bailing sign manually.

Close the door of the bailing chamber/the feeding door.

Fully raise the bailing sign manually.

After restoring the power supply, completely raise the bailing sign manually.

Check the completed bales (chapter 6.5).

 

The ejection plate does not return to its original position

Causes:The bailing sign is not completely raised.
Solution:Fully raise the bailing sign manually.

 

The bale is not ejected

Causes:The bailing sign is not raised.

The door of the bailing chamber is not open enough.

Solution:Raise the bailing sign using the bi-manual control.

Open the door (the opening angle must be at least 100°).
